Background

This 2012 Coloring and Activity Book is from Bendon Publishing, probably the most active of the U.S. Spider-Man activity book publishers at this time.

Story Details

The book is 64 pages of black and white newsprint with a square binding. There are two different covers available under the same ISBN. There's a pre-printed $1.99 price on the back cover.

The content is taken from the same art pool as the Spider-Man Color/Activity (Parragon/Scholastic) books, but with a couple of improvements.

Firstly, the captions have been improved slightly. Secondly, it looks like some new "activity" content has been added.

General Comments

There's a good mix of villains, and also a good mix of pure coloring pages and activity pages. The updated captions are a nice visual improvement.

Overall Rating

For two bucks, this is a really good value coloring book. Yes it draws on the same pool of art that is also being used by three other publishers at the moment, but Bendon is using the art very well.

Combining the value for money, I'm going to give this one an above average 3.5 web rating.
