To anybody who is a comic fan of more than Spidey or Marvel or super-heroes, may I direct your attention to an upcoming book called "Jack's Luck Runs Out" by Jason Little, published by Top Shelf Productions.
I don't know a thing about the comic but I know a little something about the author. Jason was a co-worker of mine a few years back. Not only is he one of the nicest guys you would care to meet but he is also an extremely talented comic book writer/artist. You only had to read a few pages of his work back then to know that this was an artist with the ability to make it. I was always impressed with anything that Jason did. A couple of years ago, he decided to move to New York to seek his fortune and it looks like he is on his way.
I admit to shamelessly plugging a book I have not read because it was created by a friend but... I have a feeling that anyone who picks the book up will be glad they did. In fact, it's possible that you may be buying and reading the professional premiere of a creator who will make a big name for himself in the world of alternative comics. I think Jason's that good.
