The first season was created by Grantray-Lawrence Animation. It consisted of 20 episodes, each containing a pair of 13 minute stories. The episodes in the first season start straight into the action with no title. (20 episodes)

"The Power of Dr. Octopus/Sub-Zero For Spidey"

Sep 9th 1967 - Dr. Octopus schemes to destroy an entire section of the city, and Spider-Man must stop him.

Second Story - Professor Smarter is kidnapped by ice-creatures to help them fix their starship, and Spider-Man must stop the city from freezing over.

"Where Crawls the Lizard/Electro the Human Lightning Bolt"

Sep 16th 1967 - A serum turns a prominent doctor into a swamp creature called the Lizard, and Spider-Man must stop the new super-criminal.

Second Story - Spider-Man battles Electro, the human lightning bolt.

"The Menace of Mysterio (2 Parts)"

Sep 23rd 1967 - Mysterio impersonates Spider-Man and commits a series of crimes, so Spider-Man must clear his name.

Second Story - The story continues in Part II.

"The Sky is Falling/Captured By J.Jonah Jameson"

Sep 30th 1967 - Spider-Man battles birds under the control of The Vulture.

Second Story - Jameson hires Professor Smythe, who creates a robot to track down and capture Spider-Man.

"Never Step On a Scorpion/Sands of Crime"

Oct 7th 1967 - Spider-Man faces the Scorpion, a supercriminal with a mechanical body suit, complete with a deadly stinging tail.

Second Story - The web-slinger must battle The Sandman, a villain made of sand who can assume any shape.

"Diet of Destruction/The Witching Hour"

Oct 14th 1967 - A metal-eating robot reeks havoc in New York, and Spider-Man must find a way to stop it.

Second Story - The Green Goblin steals a book of spells from the home of a mystic and intends to use J. Jonah Jameson as a medium to summon demons in order to gain supernatural powers.

"The Kilowatt Kaper/The Peril of Parafino"

Oct 21st 1967 - Electro escapes from prison, and he's out to get Spider-Man. Blacking out New York City seems a good way to get Spidey's attention.

Second Story - While pursuing the escaped convict Red Dog Melvin, Spider-Man realizes that the criminal has been kidnapped by the fiendish wax-maker Parafino, who is turning famous people into wax dummies for his museum. However, the next famous person Parafino has set his sights on is Spider-Man!

"Horn of the Rhino (2 Parts)"

Oct 28th 1967 - The Rhino frames Spider-Man for the theft of a top-secret component used by the army.

Second Story - The story continues in Part II.

"The One-Eyed Idol/Fifth Avenue Phantom"

Nov 4th 1967 - A one-eyed idol becomes the tool of a master criminal who magically forces people to hand over their money.

Second Story - The Fifth Avenue Phantom uses a robot disguised as a mannequin to rob department stores.

"The Revenge of Dr. Magneto/The Sinister Prime Minister"

Nov 11th 1967 - Mad scientist Mr. Magneto blazes a trail of destruction after he fails to get into the Science Hall Of Fame.

Second Story - Peter Parker discovers that an evil imposter has replaced a foreign prime minister.

"The Night of the Villains/Here Comes Trubble"

Nov 18th 1967 - Parafino brings Blackbeard and other historic figures to life, and Spider-Man must battle them all to put Parafino behind bars.

Second Story - Evil Greek myth expert Miss Trubble plots to force Jameson to take up her column on mythology. Spider-Man must discover her hideout and destroy her creations.

"Spider-man Meets Dr. Noah Boddy/The Fantastic Fakir"

Nov 25th 1967 - Noah Boddy, the invisible man, seeks revenge on J. Jonah Jameson.

Second Story - A swami steals the Gingamore Ruby, and Spider-Man must defeat him to return the jewel.

"Return of the Flying Dutchman/Farewell Performance"

Dec 2nd 1967 - Spider-Man discovers that Mysterio is behind the "appearance" of The Flying Dutchman and must expose his plot.

Second Story - When the Castle Theater prepares for demolition, strange occurrences lead Spider-Man to the great magician Blackwell, who does not want the theater destroyed.

"The Golden Rhino/Blueprint for Crime"

Dec 9th 1967 - The Rhino steals large amounts of gold and melts it down to create a statue in his honor.

Second Story - The Plotter goes after secret government blueprints and creates diversions for Spider-Man.

"The Spider and the Fly/The Slippery Dr. Von Schlick"

Dec 16th 1967 - The Human Fly Twins (in no way related to Rick Deacon) hatch a plan to steal the Gingamere jewels. Spider-Man gets in their way. Note that the twins are identified as being named Stan and Lee in "To Cage A Spider".

Second Story - Spider-Man responds to an explosion at the oil docks and discovers that the devious Dr. Von Schlick is stealing oil to make a powerful energy tablet.

"The Vulture's Prey/The Dark Terrors"

Dec 23th 1967 - Jameson gives away details of a secret rocket test to Vulture, and Spider-Man must stop the villain before he strikes.

Second Story - Shadowy creatures are terrorizing New York City. As Spider-Man investigates, he finds that all roads lead to the Phantom of Fifth Avenue!

"The Terrible Triumph of Dr. Octopus/Magic Malice"

Dec 30th 1967 - Dr. Octopus has escaped from jail, stealing a dangerous military weapon called the Nullifier. Can Spider-Man stop him before Octopus puts the squeeze on New York?

Second Story - The Green Goblin uses a book Of magic to improve his criminal skills.

"Fountain of Terror/Fiddler on the Loose"

Jan 6th 1968 - Spider-Man searches for Dr. Connors after he mysteriously goes missing after discovering the Fountain of Youth, but must deal with the villainous hunter Clivendon, who wants the fountain for himself!

Second Story - The wealthy Cyrus Flintridge, a sponsor of rock music, is being stalked by a psychotic fiddler whose musical instrument releases sonic vibrations that can vaporize anything they touch. When Spider-Man gets caught up in the action, will he be sharp enough to avoid the flats of the Mad Fiddler?

"To Catch a Spider/Double Identity""

Jan 13th 1968 - Spider-Man's unseen adversary, Dr. Noah Boddy, enters a prison where he breaks out the Green Goblin, Electro and the Vulture and brings them in on his plan.

Second Story - The master actor Charles Cameo escapes from prison and goes on a crime spree, impersonating first Peter Parker, then J. Jonah Jameson, and finally Spider-Man himself!

"Sting of the Scorpion/Trick or Treachery"

Jan 20th 1968 - The Scorpion escapes from jail and, breaking into Dr. Stillwell's lab, finds a growth serum that turns him into a twenty-foot giant! How will Spider-Man be able to stop the monster after he sets his sights on J. Jonah Jameson?

Second Story - The Human Fly Twins escape from prison and plan a crime spree. Part of that plan involves framing Spider-Man.
