Background

This 2014 comic-book sized promo is actually the exhibit guide for an exhibition of original comic art, displayed at the William King Museum of Art in Abingdon, Virginia from January 24th to June 29th, 2014.

"Heroes Aren't Hard to Find" is actually the name of the much-loved comic book store in Charlotte, NC owned by Shelton Drum, who is also the owner of the comic art on display.

Story Details

This "comic" actually has a cardboard cover, not a paper one. Inside are eight pages which give a list of all of the pieces on display, along with reproductions of some of those pieces.

General Comments

There's plenty of Spider-Man art included in the 75 or so items on the exhibition list which features both raw pencils and completed, painted art.

Among the creators featured are Ditko, Kirby, Romita Sr. and Jr. Zeck, Byrne, Vess, Starlin, Sale, Jusko, Kane, Miller, Heck, Sienkiewicz, and many more.

Overall Rating

This would have been a great exhibition to attend, and this is a delightful little collectible promo which stars Spider-Man on the cover.
