RE: spider man
I relliy like him
Do you mean... "Reilly, I like him!" you're a disillusioned Ben-Fan. Yep, you're right, maybe Ben would have been better than what happened with Final Chapter.

OK... that's certainly something a little different. I think someone has a little too much spare time on their hands!
i would just like to make one small comment the Virtual Reality Bomb(VRB) seemed very much like the Realti-Vee(RV) of the Guardians of the Galaxy series except that the VRB did not emit a highly addictive gas (though it may have had some addictive property if it had lasted longer) and the RV was pirated badoon technology sometime obtained bet ween 3014-3018 AD (though earth was attacked by martians in the early 21st century and so it may have originally been technology from earth) and Spider-Man was the last to fall he fought the martians alone when all the other heroes fled and there's more to this story if you ask me i'll tell you what happened after spider-man fell well c ya
Mmmm... Mmmm... And how long have you been having these hallucinations?

I have been reading through the e-mail's that you have posted on your site and I agree with all of them. What is Marvel thinking????????
I have never agreed with everything that has been done to Spidey but I have always waited to see where it was going and tried to figure out why it was being done, but this has gone too far. Believe it or not the clone saga actually got me back into reading Spidey after several years of not knowing what was going on. I have talked to a-lot of readers in my area and all of us fell the same way about this rewriting of Spider-Man's history. I have heard many comments that it worked for FF, Avengers and the others that were caught up in the Onslaught saga, but it was done completely different, there was a story leading up to the trasformation that almost made since. But the way they are doing Spidey in one issue he is the Spidey that we have known and loved for years and in the next it is a Spidey with a completely different history and the last five years of comics should never have been written.
I do not know what is going to come out of this but all I can say is that I am going to give this a few issues to see where it is going to go because I have no idea from what has happened so far and if I don't like it then I am out. Marvel must really want the new younger readers to be willing to discard those of us who have been with them up until now and I hope they are prepared for when this blows up in there face.
Thanks for giving me a place to vent my frustration.
Actually, the feedback from the revamp has been generally positive. That trick of making the comics really bad for a couple of months so that the next month seems much better might actually be paying off!

Thank you for taking the time to visit the FAN Universe and submit your website for inclusion in The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide, 29th edition.
The response was so great that we also listed you in The Guide #2: The Overstreet Comic Book Price Update, currently on sale at finer comic shops everywhere.
This was in reply to my submitting the site to the Overstreet Price Guide. They run a regular directory of fan site listings, in case you didn't know.
I JUST FINISHED READING SPIDER MAN CHAPTER ONE No 1 BY JOHN BYRNE, AND I WANT TO PROTEST AGAINST WHAT IN MY VIEW IS A ASSAULT ON THE STAN LEE/ STEVE DITKO SPIDER MAN.
I AM A FAN OF BYRNE AND HIS OTHERS WORKS (EVEN HIS SUPER MAN REBOOT) BUT HE CHANGED VITAL INGREDIENTS ( A LA HEROES REBORN) THAT DETOURS AND TRAVESTY THE LEE/DITKO WORK.
NOW PETER PARKER BECOMES SPIDER- MAN BECAUSE OF A EXPLOSION IN THE LAB (SHADES OF HULK)! AND WHEN HE DISCOVER THAT UNCLE BEN IS DEAD, HE RUNS TO A ALLEY, NOT TO HIS HOME !
PLEASE WRITE TO MARVEL AND TELL THEM THAT CHAPTER ONE TOOK TOO MANY LIBERTIES WITH LEE'S WORK !
You think that's bad? Wait till you see what happens to Aunt May in that Retro Disco where she gets her new super-powers, and is reborn as... "Dancin' Queen!". It's enough to put you off Lycra for a long, long time.
