Do you know if they are releasing or are planning on releasing the "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" that aired on Fox, on DVD any time soon of in the near future. I know they have been releasing DVD's of the different episodes, but I was wondering if they would release them in like a box set of by season.

How come some copies of Amazing Spider-Man #194 that are sold for example on eBay have a line through the upc code? Are they supposed to be like that? I can't seem to find an answer anywhere.
Those copies with the diagonal line through the UPC are early examples of "Direct Market Editions". Being sold through specialty shops, those Marvel comics circa ASM # 190-210 didn't need a UPC and so were printed with it crossed out. Later direct market comics simply left out the barcode part altogether and instead had a shot of a Spidey-head, or some other picture. Today's direct market copies simply have "Direct Edition" printed on them.

I recall from my teen years reading in an unremembered comic a story that stated at some point in the future, an invading alien race takes over Earth. These aliens build a shrine to Spider-man because he was the last hero standing. I can't find any proof online that this story ever existed. I know I read it, perhaps it wasn't in a Spidey comic at all.

In the Senator Ward storyline (I know, I don't want to bring it up either, but...) weren't Electro and Mysterio (Danny Berkhart, right?) an ally of Ward's? They were with him at the end of PPSM #12 (110) but nothing was ever said about it again. Also, what could Mysterio have done to get a guy with Electro's power under his control?

Peter and Howard have run into each other a few times. Among them Howard the Duck (Vol. 1) #1, Marvel Treasury Edition #12, Marvel Team-Up #96, and Spider-Man Team-Up #5. And unfortunately, captain, there's no meeting between the two planned for the foreseeable future.
