Spider-Man and Zoids was published by Marvel UK back in those heady days of the mid-1980s. A weekly title, it ran for fifty-one issues, and reprinted many of Spidey's post-Secret War adventures. The first appearance of Puma, the Alien Costume, the Hobgoblin and the revelation that MJ knew Spidey's identity all along, were revealed to a waiting British public in these pages. But Spidey was not alone. He shared top billing with the Zoids - inhuman war machines from the planet Zoidstar. And we mustn't forget the slew of back-up strips that featured everything from the Fantastic Four minus the Thing, to Lando Calrissian in a blond nylon wig.
