Anya Sofia Corazon became the super-heroine known as Arana as described in Amazing Fantasy (Vol. 2) #1-6. She subsequently acquired her own title, Arana #1-12, before sinking into obscurity once more.

Most recently she was involved in the events of "The Grim Hunt" for Spider-Man, as described in Amazing Spider-Man #634 and following. She lost her powers during that story, and appears as "Spider-Girl" in this title as a non-powered teenage crime-fighter dependent only on her training and her high-tech equipment.
