Comics : Marvel Super Heroes Game (TSR Role-Playing Game)
Section Name: Spider-Man Mainstream Guest Apps
Base Level: No Spider-Man
This was the first Marvel Role-Playing game. It was released originally in 1984, then in 1986 it was re-released as an "Advanced" set. There was a second system subsequently released by TSR using their SAGA system - see Marvel Super Heroes Adventure Game (SAGA) for more details on that. In 2003 a completely new system was produced, entitled Marvel Universe Roleplaying Game.
This original series was the most popular of all the various Marvel role-playing systems, and was well supported by TSR. For more information on this series, see the Marvel Super Heroes (role-playing game) Wikipedia Article.
