Araña: The Heart of the Spider continued the adventure of Anya Corazon from her stint in issues #1-6 of Amazing Fantasy (Vol. 2). In this series Anya accepted her role as The Hunter and worked with the Spider Society against the evil Sisterhood of the Wasp. A thunderingly average series on every level, it had very little to recommend it. No-one was surprised when it was cancelled with issue twelve. Although set in the mainstream Marvel Universe this title has only minor relevance to Spider-Man. This one's only for the completists.
