Playing on its obvious links to Spider-Man, it launched a new Spidey- related spin-off character into the Marvel Universe: Araña. The first arc lasted six issues after which Araña was spun off into her own title. Amazing Fantasy continued as a spotlight for new (or revamped) Marvel characters with rotating creative teams.
