Major rumble happens, but the dams burst and flood anyway... BUT!... Hulk and mythical bird crash out up through the earth, leaving a giant plug-hole, and the water drains away. D'Oh!

In General...

Well, I've looked and looked, and can find NO redeeming features in this story. OK, firstly, so major issues to do with reality.

  1. A dozen reporters are allowed inside the SHIELD cordon, and suddenly Spider-Man appears for all to see. All the other journalists are accounted for under armed protection, and Peter Parker is the only one missing. Clue? Perhaps!
  2. Hulk and the bird travel half way round the world in a day? Crashing through underground tunnels at 500 miles an hour, as fast as a 747? Not!
  3. Enough water to flood the Savage Land just drains away in minutes, without ripping away all the trees, top-soil, animals. No way!
  4. Peter spends his time rescuing goats, rather than bothering to first take a look at the 'refrigerating' dams built (in very quick time) by Roxxon, who he knows all along are a bunch of crooks. In fact, no-one from SHIELD can tell a fridge from an ice melter! Wow! I figure that if the melting rate increased when the devices were turned on, I'd want to check them out first!

Overall Rating...

One half-web. Sexy Shanna deserves better.
