Comics : Meredith: Spider-Man Coloring Book

This story is part of a Lookback Series: Book of the Month Club

Background...

This is a small 32-page version of the larger Meredith "Jumbo" Spider-Man Color and Activity Book (400 pp) and Meredith "Giant" Spider-Man Color and Activity Book (96 pp). It is the same size at 8.25" x 10.75" from the front and is printed in the same cheap newsprint stock.

Aug 2005 : SM Title : Spider-Man Color/Activity Books (Meredith)
Reprinted In: Meredith: Spider-Man Ultimate Color and Activity Set

This book contains 32 pages of content which is otherwise indistinguishable from any of the other Meredith coloring books. As detailed elsewhere, this consists of mostly B&W coloring pages with a few B&W puzzle pages. Nearly all the art is taken from Ultimate Spider-Man, and appears to have been extracted digitally - it is jaggy and poorly reproduced in many cases.

There are four of these small 32pp coloring books, all identical quadruplets with the exception of different cover art and a different ISBN code. None are listed separately on Amazon, and none have prices on the back. That makes me pretty confident that they're only available as part of the Meredith: Spider-Man Ultimate Color and Activity Set cardboard box set.

In General...

Small and crappy.

Overall Rating...

Two webs.
