Comics : 1994 Third Quarter ReportThis story is part of a Lookback Series: A Word From Our Sponsor
Background...From a collector's standpoint, one of the most interesting aspects of the Marvel Comic's Board of Directors taking the comicbook company public in 1991 was that when the company began issuing quarterly and annual reports, those reports (unlike similar reports of other publicly-traded companies) were issued in the form of comicbooks. These comicbooks/reports have since become collectible items on their own.
In Detail...
This is a report of the third quarter of 1994. It features Generation X on the cover Spider-Man and the Scarlet Spider appear on the back cover.
In General...This is, like other quarterly reports, this is a comicbook-sized four-page report published on card stock. Only a couple of images of Spider-Man actually appear in it.
Overall Rating...
Heavy on the text, light on the images, not enough Spidey. |
