Background...

This is a compilation of two other DK Spider-Man sticker books. Specifically this book contains Spider-Man Amazing Adventures: Ultimate Sticker Book (DK) and Spider-Man World of the Web-Slinger: Ultimate Sticker Book (DK).

Normally a reprint/compilation wouldn't warrant a separate review. But I'm making an exception because I just want to clarify exactly what this book contains.

Review

As mentioned, this book compiles Spider-Man Amazing Adventures: Ultimate Sticker Book (DK) and Spider-Man World of the Web-Slinger: Ultimate Sticker Book (DK).

However, the more observant amongst you may have noticed that each of those two books contain 250+ stickers apiece, while this compilation contains a grand total of 1,000+ stickers! How is this possible?

You've probably guessed already. Each of the smaller books contained 16 pages of text/graphics, plus 8 sheets of stickers. This compilation contains 16 + 16 = 32 pages of text/graphics from both books, then also contains the 8 + 8 = 16 page of stickers from both books. Then it duplicates the 8 + 8 = 16 pages of stickers all over again.

In General...

Does that make sense? This collection contains the text from both books, and contains the stickers from both books... doubled!

Overall Rating...

In the U.S. this book lists for US$13, but is currently selling on Amazon for $10.39. That compares to about $5 each for the individual books, which makes the price seem about right.

In Australia however, the compilation was on sale for a fair bit less than the combined cost of the individual books, making it pretty good value by comparison.

Price aside though, I'm going to offer the same rating as I did for the individual halves. That's three-and-a-half webs.
