In a bargain for his freedom, the Kingpin a.k.a. Wilson Fisk, offered the FBI indisputable proof that Matt Murdock is the Daredevil.
Instead of hard evidence, Fisk manipulated the chess board and put Murdock in an inescapable position. Now Matt Murdock will stand trial for his crimes as the Daredevil.

Summary: Peter Parker Cameo in Courtroom
Arc: Part 2 of "The Murdock Papers"
The arraignment hearing has started and various figures from the superhero community are seated in the courtroom, in their civilian outfits. The judge asks how they plead and bam! Murdock smacks Foggy Nelson like Captain Kirk and beat up a few bailiffs. He runs outside and through a mob of people until he meets Black Widow on the rooftop. Black Widow unites Murdock with his woman Milla and they start their new life in France.
Murdock wakes one night to find Milla dead with a playing card in her throat. He also finds Bullseye laughing. Murdock takes the fight outside and snaps Bullseye's neck in the streets of France.
It's a year later and after a brief scuffle with some thuggish type guards, Murdock meets up with Electra. She wearing some Japanese clothes and looking mighty fine so it's no surprise that they make some sweet love right there on the floor. They put on some clothes and have a little chat outside and we find out that they're still in the courtroom. Sorry Murdock, no nookie for you.
Murdock pleads not guilty. Since the court feels that he's a huge flight risk, they deny bail. People start yelling and trying to address the judge but those pleas fall on deaf ears. The judge's gable is doing a jackhammer impression.
Meanwhile it seems that Fisk is a free man, that is until he gets his get out of jail free card revoked. The same guy that Fisk struck a deal with is sending him back to jail to await trial for the murder of Jonathan Roche.
In jail, the Owl chides the Kingpin in jail. Hammerhead is also there. And now Murdock with his head down is going to join them.
Aw man, what a tease!! This book had action, deaths, daring escapes and a booty call. But it was all make believe. I mean comic books are all make believe but this was more make believe than usual since it was going on in Murdock's head.
I can't knock the book for being a tease. The fact that I'm a little annoyed with where the story is going is a good indication that this book was well written. Or it could be a huge fiasco. Either way I'm very excited about things to come and the new team that will be working on this book.
Four webs. The parts of the story that were imagined by Murdock were good but they were very rushed. A couple years passed during his fantasy and I would have liked to see what he had to go through in those years. Overall though, the book was pretty good but not any kind of real milestone event.
Oh and Peter Parker is in the court room...somewhere.
