Janet Van Dyne is The Wasp. A long-time member of the Avengers, she was married to Henry Pym, a.k.a. Yellowjacket. The Wasp can change by mental command from her normal size to that of a wasp. She can fly, and is equipped with a pair of stingers on each wrist which produce a bio-electric blast, with associated kinetic impact.
