Background

Frank Oliver was a native of Australia who was fascinated with Kangaroos. Through practice, diet, and determination, he achieved the ability to jump and box as well as his much-admired marsupial cousins. Turning his new skills at first to boxing in his homeland, he was forced to flee after an unfortunate incident in the ring.

When reaching Australia, he was apprehended by the U.S. law enforcement agents, but managed to escape their custody. Living as a fugitive, he soon encountered Spider-Man, and was defeated by him.

After that defeat, he met Dr. Jonas Harrow, who provided him with enhanced powers for the Doctor's own means. Sadly, Mr Olivers stupidity and stubborness resulted in his rather permanent demise shortly after.
